Program Overview
The MHAB After School Program provides a warm, structured, and enriching environment for children ages 5–11 (Kindergarten–Grade 5) at the end of the school day. Designed for families seeking a premier Mandarin after-school program in Cambridge and the Greater Boston area, our staff offers comprehensive academic support, creative play, and daily language enrichment.
Licensed by the MA Dept. of Early Education and Care (EEC), our program maintains high standards of safety, supervision, and educational quality. We are committed to supporting each child’s academic growth, social development, and overall well-being.
Mandarin Language & Cultural Immersion
A distinctive feature of our program is daily Mandarin instruction. Through interactive lessons—including songs, storytelling, games, traditional Chinese culture, and hands-on arts activities—students build a strong foundation in Mandarin while developing cultural awareness and global understanding.
Location & Service Area
MHAB is conveniently located at 2464 Massachusetts Ave in Cambridge, MA (near Porter Square), serving families from Cambridge, Somerville, Arlington, and surrounding Boston communities.
We follow the Cambridge Public School District calendar and provide a safe, accessible after-school solution for local elementary students. The program is closed when Cambridge Public Schools are not in session, including snow days.
